Luz has been doing hair for over 15 years and is the co-owner of Davao Hair Studio. She is a perfectionist, highly creative and is obsessed with doing blonde hair. She has worked backstage at numerous NY Fashion Week shows, styled many models for photo shoots and runway shows, and her clients fly in to see her from all over the U.S.

Jessica Kern

Jess got her start apprenticing in 2001 and is the owner of Davao Hair Studio alongside Luz. She has thick, curly hair and knows how to manipulate curls for her clients. She has worked backstage at many NY Fashion Week shows and has styled men and women’s hair for numerous photos shoots and runway shows. She dreamed of opening a salon so she could contribute to an environment where she and her employees would love coming to work and where they had a platform to learn, have fun and showcase their creativity.

A graduate of Paul Mitchell the School Esani, Abby became a hairdresser because she loves to make people feel good about themselves. Abby’s style is laid back and easygoing, and she likes to create the same kind of styles for her clients.

Ashley Coryell

Ashley graduated from The Process Institute of Cosmetology in 2007. She loves to play with curly hair girls and she also has some amazing curls of her own.

Ellie Rivera

Ellie is from a family of stylists and has grown up at Davao. She has been assisting since 2012, and started apprenticing in 2015. She loves bright blondes and warm, rich brunettes.

Janine graduated from Redken-Pivot Point Cosmetology school and is certified in Evolve Hair Loss solutions. She has been changing lives with her designing skills for over 20 years.

Jordan was inspired to begin her career as a hairdresser by her great grandmother, who was also a hairdresser and owned her own salon. We guess you could say it’s in her blood, so after graduating from Paul Mitchell the School Esani, Jordan joined the team at Davao and has jumped in with both feet!

Mira is an Apprentice at Davao. She has previously worked in two nail salons and managed one before coming to Davao. Mira has always loved the salon atmosphere but didn’t necessarily want to do nails. As soon as she came to Davao, she fell in love and hair has become her passion.
